Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of ioJot, provided by IOCORE YAZILIM HİZMETLERİ TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ ("ioCore", "we"). By downloading and using the app, you accept these terms.

1. Description of the Service

ioJot is a mobile/desktop app offering a rich-text note editor, voice memo recording, user-defined ordered lists, and optional encrypted cloud backup. The service is provided "as is"; we may perform maintenance, updates, or change features from time to time.

2. Account Creation and Security

Some features, such as cloud backup, require creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and your devices secure. If you notice suspicious activity on your account, contact us and sign out the relevant devices under Settings > Account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ioJot in a way that is unlawful, infringes on others' rights, or harms the operation of the service (reverse engineering, abuse, or placing an undue load on it).

4. Content and Intellectual Property

The content of your notes, voice memos and attachments belongs to you. ioJot only processes this content to provide the service you requested (e.g. encrypted backup) and claims no rights over it on ioCore's behalf. The app itself (software, design, branding) belongs to ioCore.

5. Paid Features

As of the date this document was published, ioJot has no paid features. Any in-app purchases (IAP) offered in the future will be subject to the Apple App Store's / Google Play's own payment and refund rules, and this document will be updated accordingly.

6. Account Deletion

You may permanently delete your account at any time, either from inside the app (Settings > Account > Delete account) or via the web form; this cannot be undone. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if these terms are violated.

7. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided as-is, without guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, ioCore is not liable for data loss, lost profits, or indirect damages. To reduce the risk of relying on a single on-device copy of your notes, we recommend regularly exporting an archive or enabling cloud backup.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey; courts and enforcement offices in Istanbul, Turkey have jurisdiction over any disputes.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated; significant changes will be published on this page along with an updated "last updated" date.
